25th International Forum on Information and Communication Technologies TIBO 2018 held in Minsk

TIBO 2018, an exhibition on information and communication technologies, was opened in Minsk today. The opening was attended by Alexander Shumilin, Chairman of the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus. This year more than 90 scientific and technical and innovative developments of the organizations of the Ministry of Education, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Belarusian Innovation Fund are presented at the collective stand of the State Committee on Science and Technology. An electronic student card; an ultra-small orbiting spacecraft, a nanosatellite; programs of mathematical modeling of surgical systems; a multi-level system for remote sensing of the Earth; decorative indifferent coatings for glass and ceramics; supercomputer technologies for design automation and much more are among the most interesting developments. 

It should be noted that the final part of the Belarus ICT Start-up Award start-up competition will be held within TIBO, 25th International Specialized Forum on Telecommunications, Information and Banking Technologies. The winner and prize-winners of the contest will receive diplomas, valuable prizes, and an invitation to the Startup Village 2018 Forum, the largest one among the CIS member states, in a solemn atmosphere. The event is organized by the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus and the Minsk City Technology Park (with the support of the Belarusian Innovation Fund, BSU Business Institute and the Society for the Promotion of Innovative Business).
