Alexander Shumilin, Chairman of the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus, visited the enterprise “Spetslit” within the monitoring of projects the State Program of Innovation Development for 2016-2020. The enterprise “Spetslit” is engaged in the implementation of the innovative project on the production of molding from cast iron and steel by means of a precise cast iron and steel casting by gasification models.  While implementing this project, it is expected to use progressive technologies. In particular, the vacuum suction of products of thermal destruction and after-burning of outgoing gases, the production of models on semiautomatic devices, as well as the automated modification and automated glue of models. ‘It is supposed to manufacture press forms by the enterprise itself on the lathes with a digital program control. Analogous Belarusian productions lack such lathes,’ Alexander Shumilin stressed. He also discussed the issues of the technical rearmament and modernization of the production, the expansion of the product markets and prospective areas of the development, including the issues on the production of the new high-tech products which are in a demand on foreign markets with the personnel of the LLC “Spetslit”.

A project on the production of a new technology for the packaging of chilled fish in a shrinkable film in a modified gas medium is also being carried out within the SPID for 2016-2020 in the region of Mogilev. Currently, the company is working on issues of expanding the range of products and markets.

Alexander Shumilin, Chairman of the State Committee on Science and Technology, held a personal reception of citizens during the visit to Mogilev. Vasily Molochkov, director of the City Technology Park, and Yevgeny Svirid, chief engineer of the unitary enterprise “Krasny Pischevik - Slavgorod” were among the applicants. They were interested, first of all, in the implementation and financing of projects of the SPID and the support of the innovation infrastructure entities. During the personal reception, they received exhaustive answers on all their questions.
