Belarusian scientists developed technology for obtaining consumables for 3D printing

The Institute of Chemistry of New Materials of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus created an experimental production of composite materials based on domestic thermoplastics for the extrusion 3D printing within the State Program of Innovative Development of the Republic of Belarus for 2016-2020. According to Alexander Shumilin, Chairman of the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus, the implementation of this project will enable to develop not only the recipes, but also the technology of obtaining consumables for 3D printing, as well as to master a low-tonnage production of the composite material itself for 3D printing based on polymeric raw materials produced in Belarus.
