“EnCata” received status of innovation infrastructure entity

“EnCata Limited Liability Company” was granted the status of an innovation infrastructure entity, which is a science and technology park, at the meeting of the board of the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus.

The idea of creating a technology park on the basis of an enterprise appeared as a result of more than a decade of experience of the building of the innovative production processes. The uniqueness of “EnCata” consists in uniting its own design office, research engineering (R&D) center, prototyping center (metalworking, plastic, composites, electronics, etc.), as well as production consultants, investors and business mentors under one roof. The company renders related services to start-ups and is involved in the work on the projects in advanced areas of science and technology, such as nanotechnology, microelectronics, aerospace technology, automation of large industrial facilities, power electronics, agriculture, medical equipment, Internet of things and robotics.

It was also decided to extend the registration term as the center of technology transfer of the LLC “Apsel” (Lida) at the meeting of the board of the State Committee on Science and Technology.

At present, the network of innovation infrastructure entities covers all oblasts of Belarus. Technology parks operate both in the oblast and regional centers of the country. The network of the innovation infrastructure entities consists of 25 organizations (taking into account the LLC “EnCata”). They are 15 science and technology parks and 9 technology transfer centers. The status of the innovation infrastructure entity is assigned to the Belarusian Innovation Fund.
