More than 90 scientific-technical and innovative developments to be presented at TIBO 2018

More than 90 scientific and technical and innovative developments will be presented at the collective stand of the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus within TIBO 2018, the 25th International Forum on Information and Communication Technologies. Institutions and organizations of the Ministry of Education, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Belarusian Innovation Fund will familiarize with their achievements and projects. For example, the Ministry of Education will present a smart card (e-student card) in the national education system. The electronic student card includes an identification card with radio frequency and visual identification of the owner, as well as a fully functional international MasterCard chip card with a wireless interface. The BSU will show an ultra-small orbital spacecraft, a nanosatellite developed at the Center for Space Education. It is constructed on the basis of CubeSat (the body weight is 200 grams). It has a leaky design, a vertical layout and consists of 2 modules.

The programs for mathematical modeling of surgical systems will be also shown at the exhibition. By the way, operations to improve the hearing (modeling of a septum) and a surgical care for patients with focal lesions of the limb bones (tumors and tumor-like lesions) are implemented with the use of modeled transplants. 

15 exhibits, including advanced ones, will be presented by the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. A multi-level remote sensing system of the Earth, decorative indifferent coatings for glass and ceramics products, supercomputer technologies for design automation (for modeling and optimizing the parameters of bearing welded structures and internal combustion engines), an electromagnetic shield (used for shielding computer monitors and other electronic devices), the generator of an air plasma jet, etc. are among them. 

The Belarusian Innovation Fund presents the projects of the winners and finalists of the National Contest of Innovative Projects in the field of information technologies and instrumentation. PocketBot pocket robot, an intelligent autonomous mobile robot; an onboard computer for installation on agricultural machinery; an automatic Lung Passport sound recognition system for correlating the sounds with certain diseases, as well as projects implemented within the Russian-Belarusian Venture Investment Fund are among them.
