Alexander Shumilin laid flowers at the Mass grave of Soviet soldiers in Astrashytski Haradok

Chairman of the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Shumilin together with the SCST officers laid flowers at the Mass grave of Soviet soldiers in Astrashytski Haradok joining the campaighn "Belarus remembers. We remember everyone".

In the central part of the memorial monument, the T-34 tank is installed with the guard’s distinctive sign on the turret and the number 100, corresponding to the rifle division number. The T-34 tank is mounted on a slope pedestal. There are two plaques with memorable inscriptions on the front:

“To the soldiers of the 100th Order of Lenin and the 161st Infantry Divisions of the 2nd Infantry Corps, who stood to death at this turn in the harsh days of June 1941. Eternal glory to the heroes!”;

“To Tankmen of the 5th Guards Tank Army who overcame more than 60 km of July 2, 1944 and showed courage and bravery in battles against the German fascist invaders in the near approaches to Minsk. Eternal glory to the heroes!”.

The campaign “Belarus remembers. We remember everyone” is dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the German fascist invaders. Celebrations take place on holidays all over the country.
