Belarus and Tajikistan to hold the first-ever contest of joint scientific and technical projects

The State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan announce the first contest of joint scientific and technical projects for 2021-2022. Applications are accepted from August 1 to October 4, 2020 in the following priority areas of bilateral Belarusian-Tajik cooperation: information and communication technologies and interdisciplinary technologies; agro-industrial technologies; energy saving, renewable energy; medicine and medical technology, pharmacy; nano and biotechnology; chemical technology; new materials; food security; rational nature management, prevention and elimination of natural disasters aftermath; water management technologies; mining technologies; environmental protection.

Documents for the competition should contain a business plan, written obligations of the state customer for the practical use of the results of research and development and for equity participation in financing. Filled in forms must be sent electronically to the SCST through IAS "Expertise".

The competition of joint scientific and technical projects is held as part of the implementation of the agreement between the governments of Belarus and Tajikistan on cooperation in science and technology of April 5, 2000, as well as in accordance with paragraph 3 of the protocol of the first meeting of the Joint Belarusian-Tajik working group on cooperation in science and technology dated June 18, 2020.
