“Serious mature projects”: laureates of 25th National Contest of Students’ Scientific Works awarded in Minsk

The best scientific works of Belarusian students were made special mention in Minsk. More than 3,000 reports and articles were prepared by students of BSU, BNTU, Medical University and other higher educational institutions of the country, according to the program News “24 hours” on STV.

The main topics are medicine, biological and IT technologies. The best works will be used in practice in various sectors of the economy.

Irina Starovoitova, First Deputy Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus:

We pin our hopes on that the research they held during this contest will be a good foundation for their research activities in the future.

Alexander Shumilin, Chairman of the State Committee on Science and Technology of Belarus:

The quality of research is improved. These are no longer youth projects. It can be said that these are serious mature projects, a reserve for the future graduate school or the doctoral program, and indeed for a serious application in science. Today we all use gadgets, an augmented reality, and all these areas are worked out by our young people.

More than fifty students have become winners of the contest. They all received diplomas and cash prizes.
