Alexander Shumilin discussed issues of deepening Belarusian-American cooperation with Honorary Consul of Belarus in State of Florida

Alexander Shumilin, Chairman of the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus, discussed with Mikhail Morgulis, Honorary Consul of Belarus in the State of Florida, the issues of deepening the Belarusian-American cooperation.

In particular, the issues of preparation and holding of the next exhibition in the USA  next year, the signing of the agreement in the field of science and technology, as well as the prospects of the interaction in the field of medicine and exports of Belarusian products, including high-tech ones, to the market of the USA and the certification of them by American standards were discussed at the meeting. In addition, the possibility of advancing technological patents within the United States was considered.

Let’s recall that eMerge Americas International Exhibition and Conference in the field of high technologies was held in Miami (USA) on June 12-13. The Belarusian delegation led by Alexander Shumilin, Chairman of the State Committee on Science and Technology, presented more than 80 high-tech and science-intensive developments and exhibits on topical thematic areas at the collective stand. Following the results of the exhibition, Belarusian organizations and institutions of higher education signed eight agreements on scientific, technical, innovative and educational cooperation.
