Alexander Shumilin, Chairman of the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus, visited the OJSC “Gluboksky Milk Cannery” within the of monitoring the projects of the State Program for Innovative Development for 2016-2020. The production of dry whey and dried dairy products is being modernized there.

According to the business plan, the production of two products is expected to be created on one technological line of the enterprise: dry demineralized whey up to 90% (using electro dialysis) and dry instant lecithinized milk. In addition, the plant is going to produce innovative feed lactulose-containing additives of prebiotic action based on whey (domestic development) for young agricultural animals. These products have high consumer qualities, have a broader field of application and are advantageously distinguished by higher added value compared to other standard products in the relevant market segments.

The OJSC "Gluboksky Milk Cannery" started the manufacturing capacity by this project in November of this year. Currently, the work on building non-production premises is underway.

Alexander Shumilin, the Chairman of the State Committee on Science and Technology, also visited Miory, where an innovative project for the production of sheet metal and tinplate is being implemented within the visit to the Vitebsk region. The project is innovative because it is aimed at creating a product that is essentially new for Belarus, the CIS countries and near abroad countries. This product is white tin with a thickness of 0.11-0.5 mm. The production will be organized on the equipment of the world's leading companies that produce equipment for steel smelting and rolling shops of metallurgical enterprises (SMS Group GmbH, Germany).
