Belarus and Vietnam to hold a contest of joint scientific and technical projects

The State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Science and Technology of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam will hold a contest of joint scientific and technical projects for 2018-2019. This decision was made following the meeting of the joint Belarusian-Vietnamese commission for scientific and technical cooperation chaired by Sergey Shcherbakov, Vice Chairman of the State Committee on Science and Technology, and Chan Quoc Khan, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The contest is held in priority areas of the bilateral scientific and technical cooperation, such as information technology, biotechnology, agriculture technology, new materials, electro-optical technologies and complexes.

The parties also considered and approved the program of scientific, technical and innovative cooperation for 2017-2020 during the meeting.

The Belarusian-Vietnamese scientific and technical cooperation is carried out in accordance with the agreement between the governments of the two countries of June 5, 1995.
