First projects for financing of venture investments by Russian-Belarusian Foundation considered in Moscow

The First Investment Committee of the Russian-Belarusian Foundation of Venture Investment is held in the Russian Venture Company. Eight innovation projects in the field of medical instrument-making, information and industrial technologies for the financing at the expense of the joint foundation are expected to be considered within the session.

According to the results of the session, the parties will take a decision on the inclusion of these projects in the list of promising projects for the further processing of the condition of the financing.

Dmitry Kalinin, the director of the Belarusian Innovative Foundation, presents the Belarusian party at the Investment Committee of the Russian-Belarusian Foundation. The Russian party is presented by Eugene Kuznetsov, the director of the LLC “Infra Fund RVC”.

Alexander Shumilin, Chairman of the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus, and Oleg Fomitchev, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, are included in the Observation board of the Russian-Belarusian Foundation of Venture investments.

RVC, Infra Fund RVC and the Belarusian Innovative Foundation announced the creation of the Joint Venture Foundation “Russian-Belarusian Fund of Belarusian Investments” in December 2016.

The target amount of the foundation will be 1.4 billion rubles with the possibility of the further increase according to the decision of investors. The distribution of investments of the Fund is 50% for the projects registered in Russia and 50% for the projects registered in Belarus.
