The winner of Belarus ICT Start-up Award is Normal Fit project aimed at developing a fitness platform based on machine learning. The platform enables the users to choose a personal diet with the use of the artificial intelligence. The second place was taken by the project "Programmable Designer" of the CYIC "Start" (Bobruisk). The third place was taken by the project "2 extruder 3D printer" of TTF-Group. All participants received an invitation to participate in the National Contest of Innovative Projects. Four projects, Normal Fit, Programmable Designer, Wandle and Startups-To-Students, were allocated funds for the development of business plans for their innovative projects to participate in the competition at a higher level. Valuable gifts and prizes were presented by Andrei Kosovsky, First Vice Chairman of the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus.
Minsk Go project(a mobile app with quests in augmented reality), Find Football project (a service for the search of companies and sports grounds) and Per Sat project (a modular platform for the earth surface sensing) have received certificates for training in the start-up school of the Institute of Business and Management Technologies of BSU.
A certificate for a free two-hour legal consultation from Revera received law company the Wandle project. A similar certificate of Sysuyev, Bondar and Khraputsky law company was received by the project "2 extruder 3D printer" of TTF-Group.
Belarus ICT Start-up Award was held within TIBO 2017, the 24th International Specialized Forum on telecommunications, information and banking technologies, on April 20. It was held with the purpose of stimulating the entrepreneurial initiative in the field of information technologies and instrument making, enhancing competencies in the management of innovative projects and commercializing their results. The event was organized by the Belarusian Innovation Fund with the support of the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus in conjunction with the Institute of Business and Technology Management of BSU and the LLC "Innovative Business Society Promotion".
