Interagency Council

The Interagency Scientific and Methodological Council (Interagency Council) is a consultative body for the support of the development of the system of the STI.

 

The main goals of the Interagency Council are:

- scientific and methodological support of the works for development of the system of STI in the Republic of Belarus, the development and implementation of the necessary scientific and organizational measures to ensure the achievement of goals, the consideration of issues arising in the course of work;

- consideration of proposals of  public authorities and organizations for the formation of public resources of the STI and its dissemination, including domestic and international information on computer networks  for legal, institutional and economic support for the development of the STI system, the development of information and telecommunication  infrastructure, providing high-speed access to the international scientific network for information support for research and development in the Republic of Belarus, information and communication technologies and other new technologies aimed at improving the competitiveness of the national economy.

 

The Interagency Council has been created, reorganized and abolished by order of SCST since August 2010.
